This message points to a product-media source that Shopify could not read from the row as imported. Compare the header row with a fresh product export, then inspect Product image URL and Variant image URL values. They must be full, publicly accessible image URLs rather than a local filename, private share page or text wrapped in smart quotation marks.

A malformed quoted field or uneven row can also shift an image value under the wrong header. RowReady checks supported image-URL formatting, headers, quoting and row widths, but it does not request remote images or confirm that a server permits Shopify to download them. If the file structure passes, open each affected URL in a private browser window and retry one product before the full import.

Not an image source:
product-photo.jpg
“https://example.com/product-photo.jpg”

CSV-safe public URL:
https://example.com/product-photo.jpg
