The error usually means that more than one row under the same product handle is trying to describe that same default variant, or that option data was removed while duplicate rows remained. Compare the Handle and all Option1, Option2 and Option3 values together instead of comparing SKUs alone.
Do not delete every repeated Handle: genuine variants and additional image rows also repeat the product handle.
